The resort is accessible from the Savannah International Airport.

Savannah International Airport (SAV) is closest to the resort, a 35-45 minute drive by car. You can fly here directly from Houston, New York City, Washington, DC and other locations. We recommend booking flights as soon as possible to ensure the most convenient flight experience.

Please note that the Hilton Head Airport should not be used as there is a greater likelihood of delayed or re-routed flights.

Booking Your Flight 

The resort is best accessed from the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport.  

Book Early: October is a busy time in the area due to conferences and the football season. We recommend booking flights as soon as possible to ensure the most convenient experience.  

Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV):

A 35-45 minute drive by car. You can fly here directly from Houston, New York City, Washington, DC and other locations.  

Please note, the Montage does not recommend Hilton Head Island Airport where flights are much more likely to be delayed or re-routed. 

Ground Transportation to the Resort  

Book Early: October is a busy time in the area. To ensure timely pick-up and departure, we recommend booking your car service as soon as you have your flight information. We also advise pre-scheduling your Uber/Lyft using that option in their apps – both allow booking up to 90 days in advance.  

At SAV Airport:

When leaving SAV, to meet your driver (Taxis, Uber, Lyft) head to the Ground Transportation Center on Level 1. 

Uber, Lyft, Taxi:

Best for Arrivals Only

These options work for getting to the Montage from SAV airport.  The one-way fare for Uber and Lyft start at $60-70. Please consult your Lyft or Uber app upon arrival for current fares, ride types, and rates.  

For your ride back to the airport, we strongly recommend booking a car service in advance (see below) instead of relying on Uber or Lyft.

Taxis are also available at SAV airport.  

Car Service:

Best for Arrivals/Departures

These options are best for your departure to the airport (and can also be used both ways). We strongly recommend booking a car service in advance instead of relying on Uber or Lyft.

There are few Uber/Lyft drivers available in the town of Palmetto Bluff, where the resort is located. There can also be a long wait time for Uber/Lyft drivers. 

The following are quality car services recommended by the Montage.

Toyota Sienna SUV (4-6 passengers – best for large luggage/golf clubs), one way $105   

Cancel up to three days prior for a refund with no cancellation fee. Note: book total number of passengers at time of booking, no additions permitted day of due to insurance requirements. It is better to overestimate rather than underestimate your needs at the time of booking.

Rental Car Parking:

Valet parking is available at a rate of $35. 

Check-in begins at 4pm on 10/27, and check-out is 12pm on 10/29. If you want to arrange a different check-in or check-out time as it gets close to the event, please inquire at the front desk at (843) 706-6500 and they will do their best to accommodate.

We secured discounted rates for three nights preceding and three nights following the retreat.  

We also secured a discount if you prefer to upgrade your room to stay at a one-bedroom cottage onsite.  

Starting on June 27th, after you submit your RSVP, if you wish to extend your stay or upgrade your room, contact Montage Palmetto Bluff at (843) 706-6500. Both options are based on availability. 

During the day we expect a high of 75 and sunny weather. In the evenings, we expect temperatures in the high 50s and suggest you bring a sweater or light jacket. 

Daytime attire is smart casual, and dinner attire is business casual (jackets optional, slacks, shirts/blouses, dresses, polos are fine). We want you to be comfortable!
