Senior Legal Advisor

David Bell joined Pennington Partners in 2025 as Senior Legal Advisor and is responsible for the firms legal affairs.

Previously, David was the managing partner of Endeavor Legal and provided fractional general counsel services to asset managers and operating companies. Prior to Endeavor, David was the general counsel at EJF Capital where he was responsible for the legal affairs of the firm and its pooled investment vehicles. Before EJF, David served as the legal director of an online news footage organization where he advised the company on its legal operations. David began his legal career as an associate at Proskauer Rose where his practice focused on capital markets transactions and providing counsel to managers of private equity funds.

David graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in History and he received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. David is a member of the New York State Bar and the American Bar Association.
