Alyssa joined Pennington in 2026 as a member of the Estate and Wealth Planning team. She brings more than a decade of experience as an estate planning and probate attorney, advising high-net-worth individuals and families on wealth transfer, legacy planning, and estate administration.

Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law, Alyssa has extensive experience with estate and asset protection planning, wills and trusts, marital agreements, succession planning, trust administration, probate, and related business and real estate matters. Her broad background allows her to help clients navigate complex personal, family, and business planning needs with clarity and care.

Known for her thoughtful, detail-oriented approach, Alyssa is committed to helping families make informed planning decisions with confidence.

A Houston native, Alyssa attended The University of Texas at Austin before earning her law degree, with honors, from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2014. She lives in Houston with her husband, John, and their two sons, Teddy and Miles.
