Taylor Coe

Managing Director of Pennington Real Estate Partners


Taylor joined Pennington Real Estate Partners in Q423 as a Managing Director responsible for all aspects of the business. He is a member of the Investment Committee for Pennington Real Estate Partners and plays a lead role in the origination, asset management and realization of investments.

Prior to joining Pennington, Taylor was on the equity investment team at Walker & Dunlop Investment Partners (“WDIP”), a middle-market real estate investment platform with over $6.1 billion of assets under management as of his time of departure in Q423. His responsibilities included capital raising; sourcing and analyzing potential investments across fund/capital initiatives, geographies, property types, business plans, and risk/return profiles within the United States; deal structuring and negotiation; financial modeling and underwriting; due diligence; joint venture and loan document negotiation; closing management; and asset management advisory. At WDIP Taylor was responsible for closing investments with a total capitalization in excess of $1.3 billion. 

Prior to joining WDIP, Taylor was on the investments team at Real Capital Solutions (“RCS”), a single-family office based near Boulder, CO, with real estate assets under management of approximately $3 billion upon his departure in Q416. While at RCS, Taylor was responsible for financial modeling, underwriting, project and market research, drafting transaction memoranda, asset management, and general macroeconomic research. At RCS Taylor was involved primarily with condominium acquisition and development in the US and Spain. Taylor is also the founder of Sunshine Peak Partners, a boutique investment management shop. Taylor is a graduate of the University of Colorado, where he earned a BSBA in Finance.
