Katherine  Frattarola

Katherine Frattarola has focused on the  ultra-high-net worth client segment for nearly half of her 20 years in the financial services industry. Most recently, she served as the Chief Marketing Officer for PURE, a member owned insurance company focused exclusively on the HNW property & casualty market. Katherine was responsible for the strategic positioning and communication strategy for all product lines, encompassing branding, digital marketing, advertising, sales promotion, public relations, events and sponsorships, direct and performance marketing, and member engagement. Following the sale of PURE to Tokio Marine Insurance, Katherine took a planned short-term sabbatical and is currently focusing on her family and her backhand.   

Katherine joined PURE from Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, where she led a team that supported business development and client retention initiatives for nearly 16,000 Financial Advisors, serving over 3.5 million clients across the United States and around the world.  She also led marketing for vertical businesses, including Private Wealth Management, which focuses on the ultra-high net worth market; International Wealth Management, focused on non-resident clients; the Client Advisory Center, focused on the mass-affluent business; Global Sports and Entertainment; and units focused on women, Morgan Stanley employees, institutions, online and mobile platforms and the high net worth client loyalty program.

Earlier in her career, Katherine oversaw business development for Citi Smith Barney’s ultra-high net worth group of advisors and, before that, worked as the business manager for the Global Client Development Group in Citi Global Wealth Management. Katherine began her career in Citi’s investment bank as an analyst in the investment banking management program in London. She was later promoted to an associate position in the Client Strategy & Management Group. 

Katherine graduated cum laude from Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Arts in international studies, including a concentration in Western European economics and a minor in Latin American studies. She and her husband, Rob, live with their three children, James, William and Emery,  in Harrison, New York.
