Director, Family Office Advisor

Amy serves as a Family Office Advisor for Pennington Partners & Co. and is responsible for managing the family office needs of our Operating Partner Families including financial reporting, family office structuring and coordination with the families tax advisors, legal counsel and other service providers.

Amy earned an MBA and bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland’s Robert H Smith School of Business and also obtained her CPA license in the State of Maryland. She began her career at Arthur Andersen, after which she worked for a retail management and land development company before moving into the single family office industry. There she spent 15 years providing financial reporting, cash management and investment analysis for complex family investment companies and single family offices.

Amy resides in Northern Virginia with her husband Lance and two teenage daughters Marissa and Gabrielle. She is an active foster and volunteer for local animal rescues and shelters and enjoys attending and helping out with her daughters’ soccer games, swim meets and marching band competitions.
